Good Morning from own personal nest of white sheets. I should be napping right now because I was up at 3:00am this morning flying 180 lovely souls from Tampa to Charlotte – but you know me… I only get tired when I HAVE to be awake. So since I have a moment to rest clearly I am wide awake as a barn owl at midnight. In any case, it seems like the perfect time to sit down and update you all on this little life of mine. I AM A MARRIED WOMAN! Shout it from the rooftops. Hallelujah!

Let’s Talk about Sex, Baby. My Last Fling Before the Ring.

How about we DON’T and say we did. Is that what they call “false advertising!?” But really… since when did bachelorette parties become a thing? I mean it seems like an odd concept: to be showered in lingerie and eat cake shaped like… well, I don’t have to tell YOU what it’s shaped like 😉 I didn’t even want to have a bachelorette party. I told my girls, “No.” Mostly because I have been a bridesmaid in many weddings and I know how much things start to cost. When you are in a wedding, you are throwing out some major $$$, and a whole lot of time. I thought maybe if I cut out this one thing, I could save my ladies from spending some of their hard-earned moolah. They immediately refused my “No,” and Lauren, one of my Matron’s of Honor went into planning mode.

It’s A Beautiful World Baby: Floral Themed Baby Shower

When I was fifteen my parents decided to leave me at home and fly off to Hawaii. I don’t remember much, but I do remember throwing a really huge – really “mature” fit. I was a good kid at heart though, and pretty soon after they flew away I was struck by the big, hairy, guilt monster, and since it WAS their wedding anniversary I decided I would forgive them… and I decided I would make it up to them, by throwing them a party. Let’s just say… I’m a terrible blogger: because I haven’t posted anything in let’s see… MONTHS. Regardless of my lack of writing, life has been going full force. I have been all over the country with my job: San Francisco, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, and many many more. The life of the flight attendant is the strangest, because time just goes so fast. You are always in a new city, always trying a new food, and my personal favorite, always meeting a new friend.
