Oh those Puerto Rican nights…

Every once as a flight attendant you get called for what I like to call a “golden” trip, which is like a “I really get paid money for this!!?” kind of trip. Last week, my two best friends and I got called for one of these trips, and the best part – we got called together!! The odds of this happening are very very slim. There are thousands of flight attendants based in the city where we work, so we literally hit the equivalent of a Las Vegas jackpot. The cherry on top was that the scheduling gods were planning on sending us to San Juan, Puerto Rico, one of my all time favorite layovers. I have been getting requests to post more photos to the blog, so what better to post than photos from our lucky Puerto Rican adventure? 😊 Enjoy!

The trip to San Juan was considered a deadhead, which is where the airline has the flight attendants fly as passengers to the destination where they need them to work from. This was the view from my window seat! Look at the water!! So blue.

Our hotel wasn’t right on the beach. So we had to explore a little to find it.

They were selling coconuts right from the tree near this beach.

We finally found the beach!! And of course, it was waiting for us:)

It was pretty windy on this particular day, but after several failed attempts we managed to get a decent photo.

Our hotel had an infinity pool overlooking the harbor where the cruise ships came in. It was SO soo cold, if you can’t already tell by looking at my face. I was dying!

Puerto Rico will always be amazing, but this trip was just that much better because I got to spend time with two of my favorite faces🙃. Alright! I have to run! There is lots of laundry calling my name right now (I wish I could shut it up). I just got back from my Daytona vacation last night, but that’s a whole other story, involving lots of donuts and a funky cab driver named Moo… To be continued in a future blog post;) I hope your day is beyond perfect, as it should be!

xoxo,

Megan Marie
